Can I phone in a pre-order for pickup?

Yes. As of March 20, 2020, the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy now permits patients and caregivers to call the dispensary and place a pre-order for pickup.

NOTE: As part of Terrasana’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are encouraging all patients & caregivers to take advantage of our Call-Ahead Pre-Order service. This minimal-contact process helps us provide the safest experience for our patients, caregivers, and staff.

We strongly encourage Columbus and Cleveland patients & caregivers to use this service.

Here is how the process works:

  1. Call the Dispensary
  2. Provide Documentation
  3. Place Your Pre-Order
  4. Wait for Text, Then Go to the Dispensary
  5. Check-In
  6. Pickup Order at Register

Step 1. Call the Dispensary

Call your nearest Terrasana dispensary. Let the front desk know that you would like to place a pre-order for pickup. You will be transferred to one of our Patient Consultants who will assist you. The cutoff time for same-day pickup is 4pm.

NOTE: To ensure quality of service, we will not take orders after 4pm for same-day pickup. All pre-orders must be picked up same-day by the close of business. Unclaimed orders will be cancelled and returned to inventory.

Step 2. Provide Documentation

The Patient Consultant will ask you to provide two items:

  • Your state-issued ID number (from your Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Your MMCP Registry ID number (I.e., your “card” number)

Step 3. Place Your Pre-Order

Once your Patient Consultant has verified your identity and registry status, he or she will assist you just as if you were in the dispensary, answering your questions and making recommendations suited to your needs.

The Patient Consultant will ask you for a cell phone number so we can send you text updates about your order.

After you have selected your product(s), your Patient Consultant will process your pre-order in our Point of Sale system and you will receive a text message confirming that your order has been entered into our system.

Step 4. Wait for Text, Then Go to the Dispensary

When your order is ready, you will receive a second text message from us. Most pre-orders should be ready for pickup within an hour.

IMPORTANT Do not come to the dispensary before we text you confirmation that your order is ready for pick up. Arriving early will not speed up your order; it will actually have the reverse effect and delay the processing of every order in the queue — including your own.

Step 5. Check-In

When you arrive at the dispensary, advise the front desk staff that you are there to pickup a pre-order.

The front desk team member will ask for your Registry ID (card number) so they can verify your number of days supply. You will then be asked to wait in your car until your order is ready for checkout.

Step 6. Pickup Order at Register

When your order is ready for checkout, our staff will phone you, inviting you to re-enter the dispensary so we may complete you order.

At the Pickup Register, a Patient Consultant will again need to review your two key documents:

  • Your state-issued ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Your MMCP Registry ID (I.e., your “card”) As with regular transactions, you can present your MMCP registry ID on your mobile phone or tablet.

The Patient Consultant will then take your payment and complete your transaction!
